Hospitality Team
This team helps by setting up for events and gatherings, preparing and sharing meals, and hosting within the church and the community. Through these intentional acts of service, the Hospitality Team reflects Christ’s love and invites others into fellowship, connection, and life together.
Worship Team
The Worship Team serves the church by helping lead God’s people in congregational worship. This team includes musicians, vocalists, and those who assist with sound and technical support. Through preparation, prayer, and faithful service, the Worship Team supports worship that is centered on God’s Word, shaped by Scripture, and oriented toward glorifying Christ and edifying the congregation.
NMSU Campus team
The Campus Team seeks to help UPC engage thoughtfully and prayerfully with the New Mexico State University campus. This team builds relationships, supports campus ministries, and looks for meaningful ways to offer hospitality, encouragement, and a faithful Christian presence among NMSU students.
Discipleship
Discipleship at UPC is a shared calling across all stages of life. This team serves by supporting men’s and women’s ministries, as well as children’s and youth formation, helping foster faith that is rooted in Scripture and lived out in community. Through teaching, mentoring, prayer, and hospitality, and fellowship our hope is to cultivate Christ-centered growth that spans generations and shapes everyday life.
Nursery
The Nursery Team seeks to grow and care for our youngest children by providing a safe, nurturing environment during our worship services. Our goal is to supports parents while helping children experience consistency, care, and the early rhythms of life within the church family.
Audio/Video Team
The A/V Team serves by supporting the technical needs of worship and church gatherings, including sound, projection, and livestream. Through behind-the-scenes service, this team helps ensure that God’s Word is clearly heard and seen, enabling the congregation to worship with minimal distraction and those beyond our walls to participate in the life of the church.
Safety and Security Team
The Safety & Security Team seeks to serve the church by protecting and monitoring the campus during worship services and events. Team members serve on a rotating schedule, providing a calm, attentive presence that supports the safety and well-being of children, families, and the congregation, so that all may gather with peace and confidence.
