Ministry Teams to Help Serve Others

Ministries provide opportunities to serve others.  Serving others helps us grow in the likeness of Jesus Christ.  The Lord faithfully equips His people with gifts and talents at every stage of life to serve in many ways to build up the body while sharing Christ.  Here at UPC, we have many ways to be involved serving one another both within the walls of the church or outside it.

College/Student Lunch Host Teams

Lasting relationships are important! One way to see relationships flourish is providing a time and place where young adults can simply enjoy a meal and each other’s company. During college fall and spring semesters, church families open their homes and host lunch for all interested young adults on Sunday’s directly after worship. You can sign up to be a host family and impact the lives of young adults.

Fellowship Team

Members of this team define hospitality (reception & serving guests without reward)! When a special event takes place in the life of the church this team helps with setting up and serving others to facilitate receptions, anniversaries, celebrations, and other special events that support the life of the church.

Greeter Team

Greeters have a heart for people and carry out a role that is an essential part of the overall worship experience. As a member of this team; you are committed to providing the best first initial contact as part of the worship experience by greeting, receiving, and directing people to enter the Sanctuary to experience the Word of God. Do you like getting to know people?

Vacation Bible School Team

The highlight of every summer at UPC is having the campus full of children, teens, and adults engaged with music, laughter, learning, worship and fun. Our halls come alive with the theme of our VBS while story tellers are in costume and all of our activities coordinate with our theme. Why can't you serve with VBS?

Worship Team

When you serve on the worship team, you are seeking to enjoy the Lord and helping others enjoy Him as well. Through singing, physical expression, and/or playing a musical instrument you worship God by serving Him in this way. Do you have a special music gift to share?

Serving others outside the church within the local & global community helps bring the gospel message and Christ to others who may not otherwise receive it.
